Hi all, I wondered if there was another way of finding if this is my lady or not!
Marguerite Cook b. 1922, Poplar, Ancestry offers a marriage which is to a Mr Lowe. When I click on find spouse he doesn't immediately pop out, so I went onto FreeBMD and they offer Marguerite Cook or Marguerite Bartlett to Charles D Lowe. Now, if I search for Charles Lowe on Ancestry the record that matches the FreeBMD transcription shows up. If I follow this forward and look for births with Lowe/Cook or Lowe/Bartlett then children show up for both - so do I need to order the marriage cert. to be sure which is correct? Note* I have found a National Probate Calendar record that says a Marguerite Lowe or Cook died 16th Sep 1974, London.
Any ideas of what to do next?
Thanks
Tessie
