      Not seeing any deaths of those children listed in post #20 up to 1892 when he re-enlisted. Odd that he only gave the names of Richard and Adelaide in his 2nd attestation.

        Have found Mary Emily in 1891 and 1901 in Bristol. She is lodging with her Uncle and Aunt. Alexander Peter Wyness and Mary nee Chipperfield who married in Woolwich 1879. In 1881 she is Emily Mary and in 1901 just Emily.
        1901 is a mess. Bad quality image. Alexander is transcribed correctly as Wyness but his wife Mary and niece Emily are transcribed as Wynen. The image actually has all three as Wynen as far as I can make out.

          Mary Wyness nee Chipperfield is deceased by 1911. In 1904 Alexander marries again to Ada Florence Buchan, a spinster. Emily is not with them on 1911 census.
