    I have a family of Sparrowhawks and some Birds among others

    I have loads, well about 15, but my favourites are :
    Sparrow, Squirrell, Finch, Cocks and Bull but I also have Bear and ....Coolbear

        Between us, my husband and I have

        from the air: Bird, Finch, Fowle, Gander, Gosling, Peacock, Starling, Swann and Wren

        from the sea: Fish and Whale

        from the land: Buck, Hart, Lamb and Leppard

        from mythology: Griffin

        One of my Crisps also had the middle name Woodock.

                i have loads, they are the following:

                birds - bird, herron, finch, crow and with an "e" at end, rook, swan and with "nn" at end, gosling, partridge (famous footie ref!), martin, duck, robins, rook, sparrow, starling

                fish - haddock, salmon, herring, whiting, ray, rudd, bass

                animal - cat(termole) - cat and mole? dog(gett), bear(ham), cow(ling), cow(land), pig(don), goat(es), gibbons, fox, stag(g), cobb (type of horse), doe, griffin, hart, jacobs (type of sheep), kidd, seal(ey),
                **no point asking the living for help as the dead are more helpful!!!**

                    Off hand, I can think of only one ..................... a family called Bucktrout, some of whom later changed their name to Buckwright ( including my father's mother's parents).
