Has she tried the school itself? (They may have an archive.)
The old records and memorabilia may have been deposited at a record office - has she inquired there?
She could try a letter to the editor of a current newspaper local to the area of the school? A4 poster asking for help for display in local library, church, community centre?

Hi,

I'm not sure if anyone can help.

I know a lady who's tells me she has been searching for old school photos for many years.

The school was William Grimshaw School, Creighton Avenue, Muswell Hill, London. The school I think is now called Creighton Avenue School or maybe
Fortismere School. The year for the photo's she want's would be around 1955 when she left the school.
I have looked at other sites on her behalf with no luck.
