    SEARCHING USING MOTHER’S MAIDEN NAME

    To search using the mother’s maiden name, you will need to select Births and Baptisms from the All Collections menu. This will take you to the specific search page.

    N.B. If you use the filter from Record collections on Birth, Marriage, Death & Parish Records, you just narrow down all the results you may already have and you will not get the specific search page which includes maiden name.

    Searching for Manning with the maiden name of Tompkins in Essex brought up this family of four children:
