• How to Use Photobucket

Go to the Photobucket website - http://photobucket.com/

If you are not already registered click on SIGN UP and complete the registration details.

Sign into your account and click on UPLOAD IMAGES AND VIDEOS

Select the files from your computer that you wish to upload. Holding down the Ctrl key whilst selecting files means you can select a number at a time.

On the next page add any titles or description as required, click SAVE

You will then be taken to your album where your images are stored. If you hover your mouse over the image a box will appear under the image with four lines of code.

If you wish to post your image on a forum such as Family Tree Forum, click on the 4th line of code which will highlight in blue. Right click on the blue coding and select COPY.

Go to the thread or post where you wish to display the image, right click the mouse and select PASTE.

Coding similar to the following will appear
    [IMG]http://i148.photobucket.com/albums/s34/warehamspain/ArthurLodgeb1896.jpg

There is also an option to use the "bulk uploader" which allows you to upload more than one image at a time by selecting the images from folders stored on your computer. Using a combination of the Ctrl key and left clicking your mouse will select the images one by one.
