  • Help: Bap record on Ancestry 1930 Batterbsy

A friend has asked me to obtain a copy of his bap record and I think it could be on Ancestry...certainly someone of his name in right period and county is coming up.

I no longer have subs - can you help?

As he is still living, do I have to send his details privately by e mail?

Bap was at St Nicholas (c of E Church), Sabden, Lancashire (now under Clitheroe, Ribble Valley)

    Many thanks.

You might be able to get the image you want by visiting your local library? Many libraries have the library edition of Ancestry.

Thanks Christine - the Bap records are held at Lancs Record Office so I have given their details to the friend and they are contacting them for a copy.
