Yes, as Janet says welcome to FTF. We do like a puzzle to get our teeth into
So is this your Robert in 1881? Robert HILL aged 46, licensed victualler of the Labour in Vain Adam Street Burslem, wife Hannah aged 39, sons Robert 20 and William 18?
You say you have possible wife for Matthew from Robert's baptism. Where and when did that take place please?

1881 Robert's birth place listed as Norton, Staffordshire. In 1891 when he was innkeeper of the Royal Oak Leek birthplace listed as Badley Edge, Staffs. Baddley Edge is very near to Norton, both are between Stoke on Trent and Leek.
Could that marriage be Norton not Horton Janet?

1861 he was a coal miner, living Milton, Norton in the Moors, Staffs. born Norton

                    and finally
                    1841
                    Buckland cum Bagnell
                    Matthew Hill 35
                    Margaret Hill 35
                    Robert Hill 10
                    John Hill 7
                    Mark Hill1month

Assuming this is your family I've tracked backwards adult ages were supposed to be rounded down in 1841 so Matthew and Margaret could both have been aged anywhere between 35 and 39, born between June 1801 and June 1806. The 1851 age for Matthew places his year of birth between March 1801 and March 1802.
