can anyone find murdo maclean born 1854 stornoway scotland in 1881 ?
in 1871 he was with his parents in beach st stornoway age 18 single and a seaman, i cannot even find a marriage for him? any help appreciated, thank you.

PS - The 1906 Murdo is in the 1901 Sctottish census as a baker, so ?

thanks bcbrit! but wrong fam - mother ann died in 1860,s father donald remarried in the 1870,s to a chirsty i have all the census,s for donald and chirsty but no murdo on it! also he is not on his brothers census (john) and his sis peggy (margaret) is in service, i cannot find his other sis mary but she was most probably married. this is the problem i have especially murdo being a seaman, thanks anyway x

there are other Murdo Maclean/McLeans as well, some in Lancashire.. just need to be mindful that although the spelling is different it does sound the same when spoken.
