Help with death

Hello,

Can somebody please have a look at a death for me on Ancestry please?
It's just so I can seewhat year the deceased was born so I can narrow down where he may have been born.

The gentleman is named John Oliphant and he passed away in Chester in 1972.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not from Ancestry but death index gives 11 august 1895 for birth date
