Hi can someone help me please?

I'm looking for my Grandad's Mum, Cecelia Lennon, 1st Jan 1922. Granddad seems to think she may have been born in the Motherwell area of Glasgow but considering he's slowly losing his grip on reality we aren't sure if this is the true place. His ex wife, my Nanna seems to think that it's Maryhill or something to end in bell. I've got her death record on Ancestry and I know where she's buried as I visit regularly but I don't know much else..

There is an entry on Scotlands People for Cecilia Lennon in 1922 born Bellshill, Lanarkshire. Ref. 625/03 0054

Lennon is her maiden name. she didn't marry granddad's dad and no one has any idea who he is. I think you may have found her Elaine :D Dad seems to have suddenly remembered the Lanarkshire word :P

Really? Such coincidences. I've found that my 4th times great grandad phillips lived in the street that I now attend a course in and my Grandad phillips also used to march down that street in his army gear. I have a photo somewhere..

Bellshill does have a Motherwell Postcode and is in South Lanarkshire

beautiful place.. and it was Kathleen that did the message and I can't ask her for the information as she's actually in the grave across from Cecilia with her children Karl and Kelly but at least we've gotten the name of Cecilia's mother..
