thanks Elaine got a funny situation here a George William Keen was by mistake registered as George William King ? he then married under King am not sure whether to change his surname in my tree or not ?

well Elaine I am a bit worried ,somebody contacted me on Ancestry,she has the right parents for this man and says she is his grandaughter , but I am not convinced.
Think I will investigate further thanks again.

though keen and king are separate surnames, they could be mistaken for one another in pronounciation. the fact he is down as king twice would make me wonder though. can this granddaughter provide the marriage or birth certificates? and what about his death, which name then? or his children's names? if the entire time he is enumerated as king, i would think it isn't your man!
