advice please on the removal of "folders" on e-mail page

left hand column I have opened 6 FOLDERS....I wish to remove 4 of them which are now outdated...I have removed all the e-mails successfully - but the actual Folder titles in yellow on the left hand side???...how do I delete these please...anyone know ?

If you right mouse click on the folder you want to delete you should get an option "Delete folder", then left click on that

Well did it work Allan? I have BTYahoo too and I suddenly have a folder called "conversations" under my Inbox folder. Where did that come from?? I don't want it and can't remove it. Even tried the Help but that (predictably) was no help at all.

Don't know about your conversations folder Anne - I have BT Yahoo as well but I've not had that problem. I never use the "messenger" on there though, wonder if its anything to do with that

I never use messenger either. I don't know where the Conversations folder came from, except that it did have a message in it ... it was spam and I deleted it. Wish I could delete the folder too!! :(
