There's nothing quite like a photograph

Just been contacted by someone on Ancestry. My Nan and her Grandad were brother and sister, so very close.


She had an old photo of one of her Grandad's children, so would be Gran's niece and
I have never seen two people look so alike. The photo was taken about 1920 I called my OH in to have a look and he said 'Oh where did you get that from?' when I asked him who he thought it was he looked at me like I was bonkers and said 'It's your Nan'. She would have been about 28 then.

She has got more photos so I am very excited to see them.

isn't it wonderful I know how you feel ,I got a contact who had a photo of my nans sister and they are so alike ,they even sit with their hands in their laps the same.
