  • Frustrated! Help needed please!

I'm looking for any information on Thomas Butcher, born about 1813 in Ross, Herefordshire. Married to Margaret nee Mason. I can find him as far back as the 1841 census but then I draw a blank. Any info gratefully received!

It is a good site Tan, but make make that the records are the original parish records like the ones above and not entries submitted by members as these sometimes can be misleading

You would find this site helpful: http://www.forest-of-dean.net/ It is free (but you must register) and has many transcriptions for Ross on Wye, It includes extra information that is not in familysearch, eg Thomas's father was a pavier according to the baptism record for Thomas.
