  • can anyone tell me?

I've been looking for a site that tells you prices of items bread, milk, houses and so forth for the UK, for the 1920's but cannot find one! Does anyone know of a good site. I was not sure where to post this but as I'm doing an historic time line for a family member thought it would be ok to put it on here.

Is so frustrating there are loads for the USA but none for England appear, I'm taking a break may be something will turn up on my return.

Have you got access to the newspaper archives? You might be able to tell by looking at the adverts. Otherwise, perhaps a museum of living might have relevant exhibitions (with online illustrations?). There's on in Staffs, and there used to be one in Cornwall.
