                Working all round the houses-
Susannah Arrowsmith spinster married William Marshall a widower, carpenter in ST Pancras Aug 28 1858.
In 1861 William and Susannah Marshall were living in Pancras wih sons CHarles Marshall 20 and Henry Marshall 15 a cotton worker.
When Henry Arrowsmith married Harriet one of the witnesses was S Marshall.
Could he and Harriet be entered under the surname Marshall on the 1871 census?
Judith passed away in October 2018

Both thinking along the same lines there Judith. I did look under the Marshall surname as well but couldn't see him!

Sorry Val, closest I can get is Thomas and Harriet living in Hampstead St John, but ages are slightly off, and this Harriet was born in Bedford. I'll keep checking, but I'm running out of wildcards!
