  • interesting entries in romford parish

i've been looking through romford parish in essex, and have found a lot of interesting entries. bastardy, strangers, gypsies.....and this sad entry:

'elizabeth, a bastard child murdered by the mother'. the registers are quite haphazard in what they contain. there are quite a few entries where surnames are not given. sometimes christian names aren't mentioned. a lot of details like above though.
