  • Emailing photos in a folder.

    Hi
I have recently scanned 40 family photos into a folder & promised to send these via an email to my cousin but I can't work out how to do it. I click on the paper clip & then onto the folder but then it opens up to reveal all 40 photos. Do I have to send each one individually as this will be very time consuming or is there a way to attach the folder intact.
    Any help much appreciated.

Might depend on operating system but in windows 7 go to the folder you want to send, right click and select SEND TO and then COMPRESSED ZIPPED FOLDER.
It should then create a duplicate folder (with the same name) but zipped.
You can then email the zipped folder.
The person at the other end then needs to unzip the folder to view the contents.

Another way of achieving the same result - particularly if you want to give lots of people access to lots of pictures - is to upload them to shareable web-based storage ('the cloud'). Dropbox is one but there are others. It lets the recipient choose which pictures they download.
