Thought you might be amused by this snippet I took off a 1911 census image - a houseful of stroppy women!! LOL
All the enumerator could put was some first names and nothing else

That's really interesting. Have you the PRO reference? I've written an article about people who refused to co-operate with the census and what happened to them. I'd like to include this.
