    hi,

    can anyone tell me HOW tosearch a sensus via the RG number/souce citation and bits please?


    i paid for the 1911 census for 1 of my relatives BUT i cant find it on ancestry, i know you could search it at 1 point via the above.

    I'm no expert and you would probably be better asking on research Amy. However, could it be that the area you are looking for hasn't been transcribed yet on Ancestry, or could the person have been mistranscribed? There is a place at the bottom where you can put in the piece and schedule number but to be honest I don't find that always works. Is it a name or an address you are looking for? If the area hasn't been transcribed you would need to trawl through the pages for the area and address but the ones on research are better at explaining that than I am.
    Chrissie passed away in January 2020.

              I always thought doofers were things that you couldn't remember the name of. That's what I use it for

                yep, I know what you mean Chris, wheres the doofer!! but, I thought doofer was such a lovely word i'd use it for that too..lol.. I guess I shouldv'e put Doozer!! for error/mistake.. oh well.. got a laugh.. :smilee:
