Can anybody find his Father a Farmer ?

Think I have wrong family attached to him??

Patrick Daly on Marriage in 1926 in Stepney says age 61 occupation Stevedore a Widower Father Jeremiah Daly a Farmer deceased.

Can anybody find a Jeremiah a Farmer with possibly a son called Patrick born around 1865?

I can't see anything likely Val.. I can see though that ALOT of Dalys do come from Ireland though!

I've found 2 Patrick Dalys in Stepney in 1901, both stevedores and both born within a yr of each other.
One is married to Mary Ann and was born St George in the East.
The other was married to Ellen and gives Ireland as place of birth.

My first thought on reading your post was Patrick Daly, good Irish name. perhaps his father farmed a small patch in Ireland, before your man came over here?

But it IS ONLY a thought!
Do you know which Patrick is yours in previous census?

thanks both, thing is I dont know where he came from dont have him on any census ? so only have his marriage to my Great Grandmother in 1926 which says Stevedore and his Death in 1936 which also says Stevedore.
