Well that brought a tear to my eyes Jen - Thanks ever so much - this is my dad...i had this photo when i was a little girl and lost it...i only have 2 photos of him......i found it all wrapped up in tissue papers with my school leavers report............what lovely eyes he had.

He is/was a very handsome man Jacky. I know how you feel about the photo, I only have 3 photos of my dad.....nothing at all of him when he was younger than 39 yrs old.
It's so sad to have so few photo's.

He died 2 mths after this photo aged 30, then i was born a 3 months later.

Oh that's so sad Jacky I did'nt realise, no wonder you cherish his photo's. I hope you don't mind Jacky but I have made two more copies on different backgrounds. You may not want them and I don't mind. It's something I do with some of my photo's.

Hey hey,

I know there are some awesome restorations in this thread already.
I just wanted to see if I could make this picture somewhat pretty again.
generally I like the idea of old pictures looking old still, just a little cleaned up, so forgive the 'old look' of the restoration.
