Are there some years missing on Ancestry or are there some years they didnt do them ?
Have spent a fascinating few hours adding them to my tree and found a few secrets too.

    Yes me too.

I think it said they weren't done 1939/45 Found out GGrandad got married again at 71 (died aged 72) looked up for a certificate and received it and it's right, his new wife didn't die till 1960..amazing.

It sure is Val... my Uncle is 89 and we have had a great time going through the 1900's on his street and he remembers nearly everybody...including Aunts and Uncles and their children.... lots of meat on the bones now

There are years missing and it's not consistent as far I can see. The years mentioned are definitely not done but other years are simply not online.

Well we fill the form in ourselves now so I presume that was the case then but perhaps some people couldn't read and write so maybe someone else did it for them.
Maybe if they shared an address with another family.

Oh I haven't even seen them yet. I assume they only cover London? I must go and have a look. Are they new?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't find the electoral registers anywhere.

you need to look on the main searchpage, where the 'whats new' bit is.. you can click on a bit and see all new databases.
