  • where is she in 1911

Ivy Sarah TYLER born 24 Sep 1908 Mile End

not with her Parents and 3 siblings in 1911 at 23 Lincoln Street Bow

But says 4 children born and 4 still alive

    Parents
Albert Charles Tyler born 4 Nov 1874 Bethnal Green
Martha Loise Henke born Dec 1873 Holborn

She is also mentioned in her Fathers pension records in 1916 ? so must still be alive.

    Thanks

Have you looked for other family members?
Could she have been ill enough to be in hospital (or equivalent)?

Thanks everyone and for the link Julie but I dont recognise the names at all at the moment ,and it does say born in Putney ?
She isn't with Marthas Mother a Widow in 1911 who lives at same address
and Alberts Mother is dead and the Father in a Workhouse in 1911 so not with them.
Maybe I should look for a death ???

No sign of death on free BMD and there is a matching birth for the Ivy Tyler born Putney.

That one was registered in the Strand in 1900 I'm afraid.

Try and see if she is with siblings of the parents if you can, she may have been incorrectly transcribed x

Just had a thought Val. If she was in hospital have you looked under just her initial?

i guess it's quite possible they were missed, or maybe she was with a suffragette on census night? some of them boycotted the census.

no problems just annoying when you lose one!..

I also did check for a death, but, like you didnt find one and as you said she was mentioned in her fathers pension records, so in theory she should still be alive..
