How to view a Disc contents by Alphabet

I have the Holden's Annual Directory 1811 Disc which opens in PDF it starts on the front page obviously but rather than go through page by page is there a way to search part of the Alphabet and if so how ? thanks

As the document has been pdf'd you can't re-organise it unless you have acrobat writer or similar, what you can use is the find function which is on the toolbar, so if you wanted "Aaron" it would find every instance of it.
