where can you view wills on line for free or do you have to subcibe can any help please tyson thanks

Presumably you are talking English wills? Wills for the PCC are indexed online at tna, but you must pay per will to view. Ancestry has wills from another London area court (these would be prior to 1857(?)). All wills were centralized after that date; prior to that date there were many courts to probate thru. wiki.familysearch.org has a discussion about finding wills.

You cannot see wills online. All you can see on ancestry is the National Index of probates granted since 1858 which says when and where a will was proved.
If you want a look up let us know the name and we'll see what we can do.

You need to look on the National Archives then and can download for £3.50.

Are all wills from the early 1800s at TNA? I thought TNA only had PCC. You may need to check local probate courts. Take a peek at the wiki.

Yes! I was just exploring it. There's also FTF's reference section: http://www.familytreeforum.com/conte...ls-and-Probate

The wiki has a guide to the local courts to check. Skip down to step 3:

You can see some wills on line.

                        For example:

You can download the will after paying £3.50.

Also some record offices make wills available on line:

Swindon and Wiltshire Archives - Will project

If you see a will with a shopping trolley beside it you can download it for a payment.

Always google for your names - many wills have already been transcribed and many people have put the transcriptions on line.

If you can't find it anywhere else Nottingham archives have copies of the early wills for Nottingham and you might be able to get a copy from there. They are all on microfische so not hard to be copied.
