  • Another request for help please

    Trying to keep myself busy.

My GGFx4, John Acton died in July 1823 at Loampit Hill, Lewisham, Kent. He had been quite a wealthy man living mainly in Deptford, and left a will with probate Proved at London with a Codicil 26th July 1823.

Obviously someone with a fair bit of dosh would have surely had at least a headstone but try as we might over the years, my cousin Peter and I have never found a burial for John Acton.

    Any ideas please?

Some graveyards have been recycled in the last 190 years, particularly in populous areas.

But I thought we would find a burial registration somewhere. Either Lewisham, Deptford, Greenwich - but nothing has come up.
