Oh dear Val - it looks like Edgluth - but I don't think it can be!!

Well I couldn't make head or tail of it so on the off chance I went to the 1871 census and living with the same family is a
        Henry Edghill.
Whoever said Seek and Ye shall find was not a genealogist.

I'd say its Edghill though on the image it does look like Edghith, if his name is Edghill then I have found him on 1841/1851/1871.. not 61 yet.

would you like me to post them Val?

thats true Val, but, when transcribing you have to put what you see and not what you think you see, not sure if FMP have a correction facility as they do on ancestry but if I were you, i'd stick a correction on Ancestry.. :smilee: hope that it does help

still cant work it out, I thought that as he was Thomas Crumps Brother- in- law then Ann ,Thomas's wife in 1861 must be Henry's Sister ? if you see what I mean?

FMP are much better at corrections than Ancestry ..... at least they acknowledge a submission by email, check it out and then email to inform whether they agree or not .
