Can anyone see what the occupation of Thomas Rogers is in the 1841 please. I know the M stands for Maker but what is he making?

I wonder if it says "Ball Maker": if you compare the first letter with the B of Baker, further up the page, they are very similar. On the opposite page there's a 'News vendor" and the N looks very different from your Thomas Roger's occupation.
