Just been talking to by 89 year old Uncle and he said his dad was in the East Surrey's

His name was Charles Edward Langham born 1890 Battersea, London.

He married my Nan in 1915 and on 1911 census in living as a lodger with her and her family at 2 Allington Street, Brixton, London

Can't find anything military about him anywhere

Thanks

Linda

I think that could be him Elaine. Uncle wasn't born till 1922 so he doesn't know much about directly after they married. My Mum was born in 1918 but passed away 8 years ago.
