  • Death certificate help please

I would like to order the death certificate of James BETTS who died June quarter 1858 in Pancras. On Free BMD it says volume 1 b,page 6 [5_].
Do I just use that page info as is? With brackets too?
    Thanks for advice
    Kerri

Cant find the edit button to correct spelling in heading>

    Sorted it for you. Caroline.

Just had a look at the original I think it could possibly be page 65??

Maybe someone else would take a look and give their opinion

Just had a look at Ancestry records and they say page 65!

I'd agree with 1b 65 as the reference number.

I do hope you are going direct to GRO (£9.25 or thereabouts) http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ and not going via any of the sites that offer to get a cert for you but expect you to pay an arm and a leg for the privilege!
