    Yet another take on American liberal copyright law.
    The European Court of Justice (16 July 2009) has ruled that as little as eleven words can violate copyright.

    There is also no requirement in UK and European law that makes a copyright holder follow up every breach of copyright to protect their rights.
    If that were the case it would be a simple matter to create multiple breaches of copyright in multiple locations and use any undiscovered breaches to claim copyright had expired.
    Eventually the USA will become as sophisticated as Europe and the UK but until then we must make allowances for their naivety.
