Can anyone find a death (possibly Military) for a John Dotter(s),
He was around in 1896 in Aughnacoly Co. Tyrone, at the birth of his son also called John, and he was listed as a watchmaker.
In 1920 at the marriage of his son John he was listed as deceased, profession Soldier, so sometime between 1896 & 1920 he must of enlisted, WW1 ? possibly
    Any help appreciated
    L

Update: His wife Bridget is listed of head of household on 1911 census so is it fair to say he was deceased before 1911 or would she be listed as head if he was away on active service?
