Hi Lynne - I have a female 'Renny' marrying into our family in the mid 1700's in Cambridgeshire if that is any help.
I thought at the time that it was an unusual christian name, which is why your thread jumped out at me.......lolLast edited by Val and George; 25-09-11, 11:24.

I have just notice you have the name Cresswell in your research interests.
I also have this name in my direct line and a lot of them ended up in Scotland in the Steel industry. PM me if you want to compare notes.
Sorry folks - I am off topic again.herky
