Looking at the Gaden line could this be Joyce?

There is another birth

But I think this death refers to that one though

Glos BMD http://ww3.gloucestershire.gov.uk/bmd/MainMenu.aspx might help with some of this. Gives mmn for births, place of marriage, etc.

I have looked again both on ancestry and FMP but can't see Joyce Gaden anywhere. Is there a marriage cert/birth cert to show whether she was married before? I know she was only 21 when she married George Webbley in 1877 but given there's no trace of her that's all I can think of.

Right - I've done an address search on FMP for Longborough in 1861 and there are numerous page not transcribed as they are very difficult to read but I did eventually find this

Glos BMD (see my previous post) shows that there are three children for Webley, with mmn Gaden. Also when they married there is no alternative surname for Joyce. It really is worth checking the site for all post 1837 events (deaths a long way from being fully transcribed, though)

I think I've found her listed as Jane Gaden see my posts above - this particular village of Longborough seems to have suffered badly with poor enumerators handwriting and whole swathes of it are not transcribed at all!
