  • Deceased online - more records added

    Hi All,

I’m not sure if it has already been posted (can’t see it) or if it’s the right place to put it.....sorry if it’s not. Got an email from deceased online yesterday saying:

Another 67,000 Scottish records added to Deceased Online. Burial and cremation records for the cities of Aberdeen and Edinburgh are the latest additions.

Over 22,000 burial records dating back to 1824 are from three Aberdeen City cemeteries; Nigg, Trinity and St Nicholas Kirkyard.

Register scans for a further 45,000 cremations from Warriston Crematorium in Edinburgh are also now available, covering the period1991 to 2009.

There is also an offer in the Lost Cousins newsletter this month for "double credits" at Deceased Online

Thanks Elaine, just bought some credits through Lost Cousins and found Henry C Blewitt and Charlotte Elizabeth Blewitt buried together in Romford Cemetery in 1895 and 1912 respectively, gives the grave number as well. My Great Great Grandparents.

Guess where I'll be taking a trip to next weekend?
