  • Edmund WHEATCROFT

I am looking for Edmund in 1861, he was b.1813 in Worcestershire, (Bretforton) ish.

he married Althea and had several children
    • Mary 1833
    • Emma 1836
    • Charles 1837
    • Henry 1839-1839
    • Elisha 1840
    • Anne 1842
    • Esther 1844
    • Cora 1846
    • Althea 1849-1849

    Althea dies in 1849
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Edmund married Patience Field in 1852 in Worcestershire, they had:

    Priscilla b. 1852 Worcestershire

Presumably Patience dies as I can't find a death for her and I can't find them in 1861 cens...

can anyone else see them, thanks

            Deaths Mar 1856
            Patience Wheatcroft
            Evesham 6c 189

I wonder if this is the same family

hmmn no mar q showing in the indexes yet if you actually search 1856 you can find mar q and then the entry.. yet if you search for it, it doesnt show.. how odd.

There are some 1856 1st quarter entries - but only up to surnames with the letter N

(I searched just using Pat* as the first name)

thanks found it now Elaine, :smilee: I have been looking with every combination I can think of to find Edmund in 61 but I can't, I have even been through the whole of Bretforton for 61 and he isnt there, Cora is with her sister but no father. I have even looked at just initals but can't see him.

tell me about it! I wonder if he was there with Cora and her sister, they just didnt say as much!, don't suppose that we'll ever know, though he lived to a good age! (84)
