    if the first birth is a non con baptism, then baptising him in the church of england later would make sense.

      I'm finding a pile of them, similiar dates and area, looks like it leads to a family connected to some manor house or other and the surname Reynolds comes in, seems documented quite extensively but I am just scratching the surface at the moment.

      I have a few Gulson names from the Protestation Returns close (geographically) to my Goulson family but the forenames don't really appear in my tree.

          The Roper connection is Cheshire and Shropshire I think, goes way way back, strangely my lot do have Mobberley, Cheshire events but only in the last 80 or so years.
