Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what a "
Dubling
" and a "
Shearer
" did in the galvanising industry?
Many thanks,
Sue

This is all I could find. You need to put shearer or DOUBLING in the search/find text box on your computer NOT in the box in the article. Use Shearer for best result.
It is an extremely long article as you will see
Full text of "Canadian machinery and metalworking"
http://www.archive.org/stream/canadianmachiner20torouoft/canadianmachiner20torouoft_djvu.txt
They both appear in the paragraph beginning "
As the sheets cannot be rolled thin
enough in two thicknesses except in the
heavier gauges, they must now be doubl-
ed."
