  • Railway accidents

While searching for my great grandad's brother on the new Ancestry railway records I came across some accident books.

These have members of the public as well as employees, so even if you don't have a railway worker you might have someone who was unfortunate enough to have an accident.

Thankyou for that Jill, I can't believe I've just spent an hour or so going through it.........lol

For those who don't know - if you go to the front of the book the names are listed by surname (by the first letter). These names have a page number beside them so that you can then check out the appropriate page. This is a resource worth looking through as it gives some interesting information.
