Can anyone tell me how to get a copy of some wills. The probate is listed in Bury St Edmunds

i think you need to apply to york, borthwick institute? and they cost 5-6 pounds. you need a cheque, coz they dont do online lol. unless you found it on the national archives? then you can just download it!

ISTR you can apply to any probate registry, though some are faster than others.

Have a look here for the address of your local Probate Registry
http://www.justice.gov.uk/guidance/c...registries.htm
I find my local one in Leicester are very helpful and it cost £6
