Marriage Cert 11 Aug 1914 in The Rathmines No 1 District Dublin

Alice BEHAN full age address "Glengariff" Victoria Road Dalkey

    Father
    Michael BEHAN deceased Carpenter

    Ireland Census 1911
    Rathines & Rathgar East Dublin
    Michael BEHAN aged 61 Carpenter

    No sign of Alice

And he is the only Michael BEHAN Carpenter in Dublin I could find

Whats the odds on it being the right family ??? Thanks

And where would Alice be ???

Looking on the irish national archives census website for 1901... there is a Alice Behan aged 22 Servant (Housemaid) unmarried living at 77/4 Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin.

she could have been in scotland. or maybe she has a different surname in 1901, step parents at all?

If Alice married in 1914, could she have been on the 1911 irish census living with the gentleman 3 years prior to marrying him? probably not but maybe worth a look? Who did she marry?

Who was Alice's mum? Did she die before the 1911 irish census as your Michael doesn't have a wife listed on that census?
