    Sophia Curtis born abt 1789 Limehouse Middlesex ? could that be a Stepney Baptism? trying to find who her Parents were ? thanks

    Ann Sophia Curtis, 13 Sep 1789, St Dunstan and All Saints, Stepney. Parents Benjamin and Sarah Curtis.

      You know Sandra I did look at that ? as on all census records she says born 1789 whereas some people chop and change all the time .
      Only thing is she never uses the first name Ann ? only Sophia what do you reckon ? thanks for looking .

        There is a death for Ann Sophia Curtis 1853. Is this the same person?

            Iv`e just looked at that record for Ann Sophia on FMP...father Benjamin was a Shoemaker....does that tie in with her marriage cert.?

                thanks Nicky but the marriage is on the LMA records on Ancestry and its before the fathers occupation was given .

                  When did Sophia marry Mr York and was it her first marriage?

                      well well would you belive it ? have spent some time checking the baptisms of their children and sometimes Sophia calls herself Ann Sophia ??? so looks like the other baptism is her after all thanks all
