Findmypast image missing
I have the same problem with certain FindMyPast images, even when using different PCs with different operating systems (XP and W7) and different internet browsers (IE8, IE9 and FireFox).
FindMyPast say my problem images are OK (and chargeable) because they can see them (and sent me copies), but it looks like many people can't. They need to get out of the office and try it at home, rather than within the "comfort" of their FMP firewall/intranet.
One of my problem issues is image 3 of a 1936 passenger list.
The other images on either side are OK.
FindMyPast are convinced it's a viewer issue (standard versus enhanced Djvu viewers), but that doesn't explain why some images are a problem, while most aren't.
I tried your problem (and good) image links, and I can reproduce your problem.
Keep pushing FMP.
Cheers,
John

People on their sister site, GenesReunited, also report the same problem with certain images.

Sad to say the Edward C Fisher on Findmypast is clearly indexed Edwards Charles Fisher on Ancestry as in the image.
If Findmypast had put the full second name in their index it would have saved everyone a lot of trouble as I am looking for Edward Cornelius Fisher.

This problem still exists.
I am using W7 (with IE9, Firefox and Chrome). ALL 3 browsers have the same problem.I can open every other image on this particular passenger manifest, EXCEPT number 3.
According to FindMyPast "The Enhanced viewer offers a higher quality image for some records and can cope with larger file sizes than the Standard viewer".
I have tried installing/switching to the Enhanced Viewer many, many times, but it does not take.
The only way I have been able to get it fixed is for FindMyPast to manually switch my account to use the Enhanced Viewer.
