    Thanks

Photoshop Elements is very good ,the latest version is Photoshop elements 9 I think its just under£59 at amazon
Adobe Photoshop CS5 is the pro version but its more expensive you would have to shop around its over £350.
Both are avaiable to try for free before you decide. I would recommend you try before you buy.

For both these prog there are loads of free tutorials on line

I use Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro. Both are good and there are several tutorials on the web. Paint Shop Pro is slightly cheaper but I find it is much easier to use.

Why not try before you buy? most of these programs have a 30 day trial, means you can choose the one most suited

I use Paint Shop Pro too, and find it excellent, especially for a 'learner' like me - although I am improving
