Can you get to a library, Paul? Many libraries have free access to the library edition of Ancestry, and there would appear to be a couple of set of records for your man in the Ancestry database.

I put his name in, and then picked on just the Service Records & Pensions; then included his regimental number. You get two hits for the Service Records and one for the Pensions. Putting in the Regimental name confirms the results.
