  • household from the 1911 please

    Can anyone find the following members of the Elmer family in the 1911 please? All born in Lincoln (I believe) and living in Cosford, Suffolk. Names of parents appreciated.

    Here we go (a combination of 1911 and GR free searches):

    William 50 b. Rattlesden Suffolk
    Caroline Elizabeth 40 Portsea Hampshire
    and the 4 children, all born Lincoln, Lincoln
    Uncle John - Passed away March 2020

      parents are William and Caroline Elizabeth, hes 50 born Rattlesden Suffork, shes 40 born Portsea Hants, married 9 years

          Rattlesden seems to discount them from my lot, but the forenames' of the children and Lincoln seemed too obvious not to follow up.

            Glen . theres another child Frank Edward born 1911 Hadleigh and William is a Horseman on farm

            PS have just change that marriage to 9 years

              Yep, just found the marriage in 1902, Lincoln. I wonder if he might be a distant cousin to my lot somehow, his name would fit but it would be a leap further back than I have researched so far. Probably isn't a connection anyway as it's a common name in Norfolk/Suffolk.

                  Well they did get around but whether they are fragments from my current lot or descendants of earlier generations I can't be sure.
