    Seems to be two registrations for Joseph Taylor ? would you say he should be Joseph George Taylor ?

    Bath BMD have the marriage registration transcribed as

    SPERRING Eliza
    TAYLOR Joseph George
    Bath, St Mark Lyncombe (St Marks Rd) Bath

      oh thanks Elaine on Ancestry the marriage just says Joseph Taylor ? I didnt realise there was a Bath site ??? gonna put that in my favourites thanks again

        ... and a very useful one it is too!
        You will find that the birth registrations dating back to 1837 give the mother's maiden name, something you don't get with freeBMD or Ancestry until after 1911.
        Also the death registrations dating back to 1837 have the age at death, again something not available on the general sites.
