On the 1891 Census, I have a 3 year old child GEORGE EDWARD SAUNDERS b. c1888 living with his Grandparents HENRY JAMES REDDEY (REDY) AND Elizabeth (full name Isabella Elizabeth (nee Hitchman)

I have gone back to both Isabella Elizabeth Hitchman and Henry James Reddey/Redy parents but cant find a Saunders connection.

Could someone point me in the right directions.
    Thank you.

Can you find George on 1901 census with his parents as tat might help?

Also did Henry and Eleanor have andy daughters that could have married Mr ? Saunders.

I found two Daughter's on the 1871 Census (which was transcribed to Eddy)

      Agnes Reddey/ Reddy/Redy b. 1861 St. James Westminster.

      Alice Reddey/ Reddy / Redy b. 1864

I'll check it out and see what I can come up with.

      Thank you for your help

        This is the Baptism of:

        George Edward Saunders
        Record Type: Baptism
        Estimated Birth Date: abt 1888
        Baptism Date: 12 Feb 1888
        Father's Name: Henry Charles Saunders
Mother's Name: Julia Elizabeth Saunders (nee Bailey)
Parish or Poor Law Union: Christ Church, Jamaica Street
        Borough: Tower Hamlets

So Agnes or Alice can not be his Mother.....

Could the Grandparents he is living with be his Great Grandparents?

On second thoughts that would still mean Agnes or Alice would need to have married a Saunders. I've been checking but nothing come up.

He could still be their great grandson if either Agnes or Alice married a Bailey and had a daughter called Julia ELizabeth
Correcton - Oops! ignore that, they were not old enough to have been Julia's mother.

How sure are you that that baptism is the correct one for your boy?

On the 1891 census he is called George. Are you sure he is George Edward?
